Tree House Competition

A company in France that has been charged with a great mission to restore the magnificence of the ruined and forgotten castle of their country hosted a design competition in the summer of 2020. Their idea was to bring users closer to the castles then ever could before by constructing a tree house hotel. The competition was to design a tree house that would help emulate the whimsical dreams of living in a time period of castles. Given three different castle locations throughout France the design was meant to be modular and easily contracted. This was the first architectural design competition that I participated in and it is an experience that I will never forget. Having to design a fully fledge design within a short amount of time is a skill that I learned from this and I will continue to participate in as many competitions as possible.
